Terms of Service

Welcome to Lechera Express! Before you book with us, please read these rules.

This document is a legal contract between you (the "Passenger") and Lechera Express ("us," "we," "our"). By booking a ride, you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.

"At-a-Glance" Version

Here are the most important rules for a smooth ride:

  • Be on Time: We run on a schedule. We can't wait long for late arrivals and "no-shows" will not be refunded. (See Section 4)

  • Bookings are Final (With a Window): You can get a full refund if you cancel [48 hours] in advance. After that, refunds are partial or non-existent. (See Section 4)

  • Luggage Limits: You get [One (1) large bag and one (1) personal item]. Extra or oversized bags may have a fee or be refused if there's no space. (See Section 6)

  • Safety First: We have the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a threat to our driver or other passengers.

  • We Record Video: As our Privacy Policy states, our vans have video (but not audio) recording for your safety and ours.

  • We Aren't Responsible for Traffic: We can't control traffic, weather, or road closures. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.

Full Terms of Service

1. Our Service

Lechera Express provides pre-booked, shared shuttle transportation services between the Miami and Orlando metropolitan areas. We are not an "on-demand" taxi or rideshare service. All rides must be booked in advance through our official website (lecherax.com) or booking partners (like Jotform).

2. Bookings & Payment

  • Booking: All bookings must be made online. Your booking is confirmed only when you have paid in full and received a booking confirmation email from us.

  • Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking using our secure third-party payment processors.

  • Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure all booking details (name, phone number, pickup/dropoff locations, dates, times) are correct. We are not responsible for errors you make during booking.

3. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Punctuality: You must be at your designated pickup spot at the scheduled time. Our drivers will wait a maximum of [10 minutes] past the scheduled pickup time. If you are not present, you will be considered a "No-Show."

  • Behavior: You agree to be respectful to our driver and other passengers. We have a zero-tolerance policy for:

    • Smoking or vaping of any kind in or near the van.

    • Possession or consumption of illegal drugs or open containers of alcohol.

    • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

    • Failure to wear a seatbelt.

  • Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the full right to refuse service or remove a passenger from the van (without a refund) if they violate these terms, are visibly intoxicated, or if their behavior threatens the safety or comfort of others.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & "No-Shows"

Cancellations by You:

Full Refund: If you cancel at least [48 hours] before your scheduled pickup time.

[50% Refund / Credit]: If you cancel between [24 and 48 hours] before your scheduled pickup time.

No Refund: If you cancel less than [24 hours] before your scheduled pickup time.

"No-Shows": If you are not at your pickup location as described in Section 3, you will be considered a "No-Show." No-shows are not eligible for any refund or credit.

Cancellations by Us: If we must cancel a ride due to mechanical issues or other reasons on our end, you will receive a 100% full refund.

5. Children & Minors

All passengers under the age of [18] must be accompanied by a paying adult. You are responsible for providing a child safety seat (car seat, booster seat) if one is required by Florida law for your child. Our drivers are not responsible for installing or securing child seats.

6. Luggage Policy

  • Allowance: Each passenger is allowed [One (1) large suitcase (under 50 lbs) and one (1) personal item (e.g., backpack, purse)].

  • Oversized/Extra Luggage: You must declare any extra or oversized items (e.g., golf bags, strollers, large boxes) at the time of booking. These items may be subject to an [Additional Fee of $XX] and are only accepted if space is available. We reserve the right to refuse luggage that exceeds these limits.

  • Prohibited Items: You may not bring any hazardous materials, weapons, or illegal items into the van.

  • Liability: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged luggage or personal items. Please keep all valuables with you.

7. Delays & Service Changes

We will do our best to be on schedule, but we cannot guarantee it. We are not liable for delays or missed connections (like flights) caused by:

  • Traffic, accidents, or road closures

  • Severe weather

  • "Acts of God"

  • Any other event outside of our direct control.

We will try to communicate any significant delays to you as soon as possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

Your ride with us is at your own risk.

  • Lost Items: We are not responsible for any personal items left in our vans. If you find you've left an item, contact us immediately.

  • Delays: As stated in Section 7, we are not liable for any financial losses or damages (e.g., missed flights, lost wages) resulting from delays.

  • Maximum Liability: In the event of a claim, the total liability of Lechera Express to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid for your booking.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The new terms will be posted on lecherax.com, and the "Last Updated" date will be changed. All new bookings will be subject to the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
